  How to Obtain Support Top of Page Top
  If you purchased support from a reseller..  
  Then contact your local reseller for support. If your reseller is not active, please call us to locate a reseller in your area.   
     
  If you purchased support from Blue Sky POS or you are a reseller..  
  Call us at 888.296.7055 between the hours of 9am to 5pm PST (GMT+8) Monday through Friday. Your support agreement must be current to receive phone or remote support. If your agreement is inactive, call your reseller or Blue Sky POS to renew.  
     
     
  Backing Up and Restoring Top of Page Top
  To back up your database go to the System Manager->Utility menu and select "Database Backup".  To restore from a prior backup select "Restore Backup".  Backup files are date and time stamped so you can track your various backups. You can also rename them.  
     
  Demo Data  
  If you are already live and want to bring back the demo data for training purposes, go to System Manager->Utility and 1) make a backup of your live data by selecting 'Database Backup, then 2) select 'Database Restore' and restore the demo file that was created when you first started setting up your system. The file name will be BlueSkyPOS_Demo_mm-dd-yyyy time. After you are finished with the demo data then restore your live company file using the same process.  
  Default users and passwords are: 
  • Cashier = 789
  • Manager = blank [enter nothing]  
  • Supervisor = 999

 

 
  Reinstalling on Another Computer Top of Page Top
  Blue Sky POS is sold and registered based on "one license for one computer." If you want to install Blue Sky POS on another computer, you will have to purchase an additional license. If the computer you originally licensed is no longer usable, call your reseller or Blue Sky POS to reissue another license and retire your old license. See the Installation section for instructions on adding an additional computer.

  Database Upgrades Top of Page Top
  Blue Sky POS automatically installs and uses Microsoft® SQL Server™ 2005 Express Edition database.  You can migrate your database to another higher edition of Microsoft SQL Server such as Workgroup, Standard or Enterprise edition. Your reseller or Blue Sky POS can assist with this migration.
